FAQ - booking ID missing from chameleon™

Troubleshooting a Missing Booking ID


  1. Have the group dates passed?

    1. If so, this is the error that a booker will see:



    2. The reason the group is no longer accessible is that the group dates have passed.

  2. Is the File Card that the Booking ID is on selected as "Available on Web"?

    2. The "Allow Selection from Web" option must be on in order to book online:



  3. Is the "GROUP" Tariff built as a V1Group Type in the b4checkin Admin Site?

    1. If not, build it, save, and re-test. See Agilysys Visual One Groups & chameleon™Â Â 

  4. Is the Cutoff Date a future date?

    1. This is the error the booker will see:



    2. The Cutoff date must be a future date in order to book online.

      1. If the property does not enforce Cutoff Dates, this date should be set to the arrival date of the group.




  5. Is there availability for the whole date range selected?

    1. As different lengths of stay book, dates in the middle of the group's date range can become sold out. If this is the case, more rooms will need to be added to the room types for those sold out dates in the middle of the group's date range.

  6. Are the room types associated with the group available online?

    1. Room Types offered online may be controlled per group by utilizing the "pick-up online" functionality within the booking.

    2. If no room types are selected, chameleon™ will automatically pull all Room Types associated with the group.



  7. Is there a package associated with the group?

    1. Is the Package built in the b4checkin Admin Site?

      1. If not, build the Package, save and re-test.

    2. Is the Package set to be available online in Visual One?

      1. The Package must be set as available online in Visual One to be associated with a Group online.
