TransForm - OPERA - Elavon tokenization & refunds
Confirming Tokenization
To identify if credit cards are tokenized in OPERA, open any active reservation and inspect the credit card number field. If a blue credit card icon appears to the right of the input field, you are tokenized.
The screenshot below shows the blue icon, meaning tokenized. If the credit cards are not tokenized, a credit card logo normally appears in place of the tokenization icon.

Refunds under Elavon Fusebox
This information supercedes previous advice from Jennifer Jones, where she had advised that 'For Elavon customers that use Elavon tokens, as long as the eCommerce MID and the lodging MID are set up in the same Chain/Entity at Elavon, this should be possible.
We have learned directly from Elavon that to enable refunds using Opera tokenization under Elavon Fusebox, we must include the following:
In the TransForm PMS Settings, turn on ‘SEND TOKEN TO OPERA’
Â
Oracle may also need to install the necessary certificates that allow Kiosk to request the token from their system.
