TransForm is a payment, deposit and credit card authorization platform that enables subscribing businesses to collect payments online from their customers.

The payments are facilitated from b4's b4payment service to integrated payment gateways, such as Authorize.NET, Shift4, FuseBox, FreedomPay, etc.  Upon successful transaction, the payment results can be posted in the following PMS’s - Agilysys Visual One, Agilysys LMS, Infor HMS and OPERA by Oracle.

Transform also uses the following b4 services: b4email and b4payment. The integration with b4payment allows processing the transactions, the integration with b4email enables email sending.

The workflow

1. Payer inputs payment data
   
   
   

   1. The payer on the 1st page selects payment type and fills in the form with data required for that selected payment type. e.g. for a reservation the confirmation number is required, for group we need booking ID and group name
      
      

   2. On the 2nd page payer fills in the credit card form
      
      

2. The information filled in at 1a step is validated by requesting data from the PMS 
   
   

3. TransForm sends credit card and cardholder data to b4payment. b4payment in its turn calls the configured payment gateway and processes the transaction. Transaction response is sent to TransForm
   
   

4. Storing the payment information
   
   

   1. Disregarding approved or not approved transaction result, TransForm traces the info guest submitted

   2. Only if the transaction is approved, TransForm stores the payment info also
      
      

5. If the selected payment type was configured to support Authorization-only transactions and payer selected to send Authorization transaction ine 1st step, skip this step. TransForm posts payment/deposit to PMS. The process can vary depending on PMS, but this only matters on lower level of detail. If payment posting to PMS fails, an error email is sent to the property with details, so it can be posted manually.
   
   

6. Email is sent by b4email to the payer and to the property with payment information.
