Create a Group in Stand-Alone GettaRoom

Following are the steps to create a Group in Stand-Alone GettaRoom:

  1. Create a Rate Plan for your group.

    1. In the b4 Admin Site, go to Rate Plans → Manage Rate Plans → Add a Rate Plan

    2. Create the Rate Plan as you would for a standard rate, but select “Is Group Block”





  2. Add your Group Rate Plan to your Group, using Rate Plans → Manage Rate Plans → Set


     

  3. Add Room availability to the Group Rate Plan, using Inventory → Manage Availability → Set




  4. Create the Group, using Groups → Manage Groups → Add a Group.

    Note that the Group Code MUST match the Group Rate Plan.


     

  5. Add Rate Plan to Group.

    Note that you must create one room type at a time, selecting +ADD for each room type.





Note the Group Password cannot be changed or viewed beyond this screen; so you will need to create passwords using a standard format that you and your team will easily be able to remember.

The contact password allows the organizer to log in to see who has booked online, but not those bookings made by phone.
