b4golf IMPLEMENTATION Setup for Visual One

Included Below

About b4golf Implementation

  1. Prices and Tee Times are pulled from Visual One Golf through the b4checkin API.

  2. b4checkin will style the b4golf page and the confirmation emails for b4golf to match the look and feel of your website. A sample of the confirmation email appears in the next section, showing which areas of the text you can customize.

  3. b4checkin creates a hosted PCI account for your property, so that non hotel guests can book appointments. These credentials are used by b4checkin Professional Services during the implementation.

  4. If you want b4golf to display the hero image banner, you must send b4checkin your imagery. You can use as few as 2 and as many as 12 images.

All images must be 1140 pixels wide and 435 pixels high.

  5. You must ensure that each Item you wish to offer online has been designated as "Available on the Web". See screenshot below.

Web Server Connection for b4golf without chameleon™

For implementations of b4golf without chameleon™, the Agilysys BN webservice is not required. For such implementations, the following steps are required to prepare your web server to work with b4golf:

  1. Provide the public ID address of the web server where the b4checkin API will be installed to your b4checkin Account Manager.

    1. This server must have access to the V1Golf catalog, through default port 1443 between both servers.

    2. b4checkin's IP addresses must be allowed through any firewall/NAT devices on default port 443.

  2. Place this public ID address in the DNS record for the FQDN (fully qualified domain name) you gave us.

    1. Note: This can take 24 hours or more to take effect.

  3. Advise your b4checkin Account Manager when this has been done, and provide the public IP, so that b4checkin can begin initial testing for connectivity.

  4. Purchase an SSL certificate from a recognized signing authority, such as your current host provider, GoDaddy, or other.

  5. Add the SSL to the site bindings on your web server.

  6. b4checkin can now complete the installation of the b4checkin API.

b4golf Confirmation Email

  1. You can customize the text in the blue shaded areas on your appointment confirmation emails. The blue shading does not appear on the actual emails.
