What does a 500 Error Look Like?

Troubleshooting a 500 Error

1. Is the SSL certificate associated with the BN Web Service expired and needs renewal?
   
   
   1. Agilysys or b4checkin must check the BN Web Service URL
      
      
   2. Open the BN URL in a browser by clicking on the URL
      
      Example:
      https://b4checkindemo.agilysys.com/B4CheckinBNWebService/B4CheckinBNWebService.asmx
      
      
   3. An expired message will appear if the certificate is expired.
      
      
   4. The property IT team will need to renew the SSL certificate applied to the BN WS.
      
      
      
2. Is the property web server turned off or otherwise inaccessible?
   
   
   1. Agilysys or b4checkin must check the BN Web Service URL to ensure that it is accessible in a browser.
      
      
   2. Open the BN URL in a browser by clicking on the URL

      https://b4checkindemo.agilysys.com/B4CheckinBNWebService/B4CheckinBNWebService.asmx)
      
      
   3. The following error will appear:
      
      
      
      
      
   4. Have the property IT team confirm that the web server is accessible and confirm that there are no issues.
