Customizing chameleon™ at Installation


The following items are required to customize chameleon™ for your property.

  • A list of all Room Types to be sold online, with the PMS code for each.

  • Maximum occupancy associated with each room type.

  • A list of Room Group names and the room types that belong in each Room Group.

  • At least one, and not more than three room images for each Room Type. Each image name must match the PMS code for the Room Type. Images must be following sizes: 

    • User Experience (UX) 1 Room Image: 1300px x 780px (display: 650px x 390px)
    • User Experience (UX) 2 Room Image: 680px x 420px (display: 340px x 210px)
    • User Experience (UX) 3 Room Image: 550px x 350px (display: 275px x 175px)
    • If you are undecided which UX you will use, provide images in the largest size (UX1)

  • If using Rate Landing Pages (RLP's), you may upload a custom banner image for each RLP you create. Images must be the following sizes: 

    • UX1 RLP Banner: 3000px x 600px (display: 1500px x 300px)
    • UX2 RLP Banner: 2720px x 600px (display: 1360px x 300px)
    • UX3 RLP Banner: 2280px x 600px (display: 1140px x 300px)
    • If you are undecided which UX you will use, provide images in the largest size (UX1).

  • All Extra Person groupings, including age groupings and applicable charges. If applicable, include cut-off age for no charge persons.

  • All Tariffs and Packages to be sold by chameleon™. Details should include Name, Description and pricing details.

  • The email address to which reservation confirmation backup copies are to be sent, typically reservations@yourhotel.com or info@yourhotel.com.       
     
  • The cancellation policy you want bookers to see.

  • Any other Terms & Conditions you want bookers to see. This feature can be de-activated if you have none.

  • Samples of your current confirmation, change, and cancellation emails.

  • Reservations phone number. 

  • GROUP tariff must be mapped in the OTA monitor.

  • Default Guest Type code.

  • Default Origin code.

  • Property code from within Visual One, normally acquired from your IT team:

    • Your IT team will need to run the following query in Visual One
      Select top 1 propcode from stay”
      and provide b4checkin with a screenshot
