About Expedia
Expedia (https://www.expedia.ca/) is an Online Travel Agent (OTA).
An OTA enables travelers to book various offerings (hotels, flights, etc.) from a computer or mobile device.
About the Expedia Interface by b4checkin
The Expedia interface by b4checkin uses Expedia QuickConnect to create a two-way interface from Visual One to Expedia. This enables real-time transfer of information between Expedia and the property PMS.
b4checkin passes rates, availability and restriction data from Visual One to Expedia through Expedia QuickConnect.
When a booker makes a reservation, that reservation data is then passed from Expedia to b4checkin, and then into Visual One.
This interface accommodates Expedia Pay and Hotel Pay.
