About the Text Editor & Media in the b4 Admin Site


The Text Editor appears in many areas of the b4 Admin Site, to enable the styling of text and the management of enhanced content such as links, or media such images (photos, social media icons, etc.), Google maps or videos.


When using Text Editor to add images or other media, that media must be hosted and accessible online; media that only resides on your desktop cannot be added.

To host media so that it is available online, you must upload the file(s) to services such as Google Drive or OneDrive, or to your web server, or they must already be a component of your website.


Media can be added to any item where the Text Editor appears. This includes all configurable Messages, the Rate Plan description field, the Room Type description field, and so on.

Fonts & Styles


Certain font sizes and style selections may skew the page lay-out of chameleon™ and other b4 applications.

Make a point to inspect changes immediately after saving, by loading the application in order to see the effect of your selection on the live site.
