About Countries, States & Provinces in chameleon™
- This section of the chameleon admin permits an Agilysys or b4checkin super user to create a country, state or province for a property to utilize in the drop-down menus on the guest information page of the booking engine.
- The country, state or province code must match the code that is built in Visual One.
- If a state or province is built, the country must be built first.
- Countries, states and provinces are all chameleon wide; if one is added for one property, it will appear for all other properties on chameleon.
Add a Country
- Select “Settings” then “Manage Countries”.
- Select “+Add a Country”.
- Code: the code of the country as it matches in Visual One.
- Name: the name of the country as it should appear on the chameleon engine.
- Save.
Add a State or Province
- Select “Settings” then “Manage States/Provinces”.
- Select “+Add a State”.
- Country: select the country where this state/province applies.
- Code: the code of the state/province as it matches in Visual One.
- Save.
