About Languages
The b4checkin Admin Site enables an Agilysys or b4checkin Super User to create a Language for use in chameleon™.
Languages currently
built inavailable in chameleon™
admin are English, French, Spanish and Dutch.
Additional languages can be created for you
if you are able to provide translations into the desired language

b4checkin can provide
a full list of required text for new translations.
Adding a Language
- Select “Settings” then “Manage Languages”.
- Select “+Add a Language”.
- Language Code: Enter a code for the new language.
- Language Name: Enter the name of the language as it will appear in the Admin Site.
- Flag: Upload the flag that will display when a user wishes to change languages.
- Save.
- The property must provide b4checkin with translations for all fields in our Languages document. Without these, the booking engine headers and buttons in chameleon™ will not be translated and will appear in English.
- b4checkin will update the booking engine update chameleon™ with the translations provided. This is a support task Support project that will take some time.
- The property must also translate their Room Type Descriptions, Rate Type Descriptions, Messages and any other text fields configured in the b4checkin Admin Site into this the new language, before making activating the new language available.
- Once ready to make the language live, select the property logo then “Manage Your Properties”.
- Select the Edit button next to the desired property.
- Select Languages.
- Add the newly-created Language to this property.
