About Transaction Categories
Transaction Categories are the types of payments you want to collect.
Examples include ...
Reservation Deposit
Check-Out Settlement
Group Deposit
Gift Card
Lost & Found Fee
These can be anything you wish to call them.
If TransForm is interfaced to your PMS, you can configure any or all of your Transaction Categories to post to a booking or to a specified account in the PMS.
Creating a Transaction Category
Add a Message to TransForm (b4easypost)
Select “Property Settings” then “Manage Messages”.Accessing Transaction Categories
To create or edit Transaction Categories, log into the b4 Admin Site and select B4EASYPOST in the banner menu. Transaction Categories are the first button under B4EASYPOST.
Once you select the Transaction Categories button, you will see a table similar to this example.

Edit a Message in TransForm (b4easypost)
Select “Property Settings” then “Manage Messages”.Remove a Message from TransForm (b4easypost)
A message can be removed from b4easypost by deleting the message. Messages cannot simply be made inactive.
Deleted messages cannot be recovered.Select “Property Settings” then “Manage Messages”.
